This is our newly ultra-organized storage unit–yeah, go us! Gary and I worked on it for a couple of hours yesterday afternoon :)
On another note, I happened upon a link on photographer Jasmine Star’s blog to an online wedding photography workshop of hers that I am SO excited to have purchased and started! Major work on the photography front has been on hold since we began our trek across the country at the beginning of the month, but I’m so happy to say that we are all settled, the holidays have passed and I am starting the new year with a tangible step in the right direction. The other thing about the workshop is that it’s in the affordable range for me, in fact I used birthday money to pay for it.
The workshop I’ve really have my mind set on for weeks is called Making Things Happen. It’s a different beast completely but from what people say, SO WORTH IT! The MTH crew has really kept me motivated on Tumblr and Twitter in this interim, I’m so grateful for finding them! My *fingers* and *toes* are still crossed that I will be fortunate enough to be chosen as a scholarship recipient for a MTH workshop in 2011. The winner is supposed to be announced January 1 tomorrow! Eeek! :)
It feels great to hit the ground running moving into 2011 :)
